About the project
In 2018, the Denver Fire Department asked me to create a set of original logo concepts for their newly commissioned Rescue 2 engine and department.
With a growing Front Range population, Denver needed
to develop an expanded special rescue department to
meet the needs of the community for: SCUBA rescues,
HAZ-MAT response, high danger extraction and complex fire response.
Together, we worked to craft a look and feel that would meet all government requirements, and dynamically reflect the culture and magnitude of these highly skilled and supremely trained service people.
Our primary goal of capturing the culture of elite fire department operations was embraced throughout the department.
